TestimonialsWe replaced (the external transformer) and are back in business. Excellent panel work by Universal! We need to use you on all our jobs!
--Siemens, Technician ...Mike F. with Universal...is awesome! He really cares and goes WAY above and beyond the call of duty!!!!!! I have worked with him on other jobs in other buildings (500 Madison as an example) and it is a pleasure working with him!!!
--DSI Group, Project Superintendent I wanted to take a minute to pass along some feedback I received from one of our most demanding technicians at Siemens. First, he said the Mudd Hall 1st Floor project was flawless (his words), and then he said Glenbrook South HS was perfect (his words again). He said it made his job easier and that Gary B. really outdid himself at GBS.
This is an open request to have Gary B. on any of my projects with Universal Power & Control in the future. I wanted to make sure that Gary B. gets the credit he deserves. I hope the competition appreciates Gary B. as much as Siemens does. --Siemens, PMP, Senior Project Manager I just wanted to say thanks for all of the time you and your guys put into this project. (Lurie) Children’s was extremely grateful and impressed with all of the effort that was put into this. Skender was very grateful as well. Please pass my appreciation on to all who have contributed to this project. Great job guys!
-Johnson Controls, Lead Systems Specialist I had the pleasure of working with a few of your installers at School District 207, Maine South High School. Mike F. was the Foreman on the job. I have never been so impressed with a group of installers as I was on this job. Not only was their work very professional, but whenever I had a problem, either Mike F. or one if his crew was sent right away to fix the problem at hand even though they were delayed by ALL of the other trades. Your crew would work or install anything else that was available just to stay ahead of the game. I have sent exact sentiments to my immediate manager at SE and request the crew that worked at SD 207 to work at our next job site. Once again, please pass on my kudos to Mike and his crew! Thanks! --Schneider Electric, Service Tech Just wanted to say again what a great job Jim K. did for us. Sometimes the guys get a bad rap, but Jim is always putting out 100% when on site. He does really great work. Here are a few pictures of our panels and the pipe work for you to see. Thanks again. --Johnson Controls, Lead Systems Specialist Both the facility group at ITW and I were extremely pleased with the work Tony P. (and the other electricians that worked on the project) did. When he left the job site, Dennis (with ITW) said the mechanical room was cleaner than before the project was started. The pipe work looks exceptional. Tony is both very professional and courteous and very easy to work with. I hope to work with Tony again on any future projects we do with Universal Power and Control. --F.E. Moran, Vice President, Building Automation Just wanted to pass on a compliment from JT Magen, the CG in Vernon Hills. They are extremely pleased with Universal's work and dedication to the project as well as the professionalism and quality of the install. Your efforts are noticed and well appreciated. Keep up the good work! --Automated Logic, Senior Project Manager Once again, Universal Power came through for us. You guys do a wonderful job. Your attention to detail and professionalism are much appreciated. We look forward to working with you again soon. --Air Specialists, Project Manager It was great working with Dan D. and Bob J. Bob was very helpful at the site and did very nice work. I was onsite this week and was impressed by what I saw. --Schneider Electric, Project Manager It probably goes without saying, but I wanted to make sure you know how good of a job Tim W. has done on the Franklin Project. He is one of the best electricians I have had the pleasure to work with. He has a high attention for detail and asks the right questions. He had substantial contribution to the current project's success. I would work with him again on any project. --Trane, Senior Project Manager Jim K., Don D., and Mike T., great job at AON! Really appreciate it! --Trane, Construction Project Manager It is with the utmost of pride that I send you this Friday morning message. I wanted to relay some information to you regarding Ken W. At the mandatory site meeting this week, in front of the entire project team….Don S., Pepper Superintendent, called me out saying the following: “I just want you to know that I told Bob S. (CS2 – District EOR – Electrical Designer) that Ken W. is the best electrician I have ever worked with.” Ken W., thank you for your ongoing professionalism and can-do attitude as part of Team Schneider and providing exemplary service for the benefit of our clients. Dan / Ken K. – the entire Universal team (Field Personnel as well as back office - Lori and Kathy) are such a huge part of the success of our Branch and the service that we provide for our clients. On behalf of the Homewood Branch, thank you for your ongoing support as part of the Schneider Team. --Schneider Electric, Project Manager |
Dan D. and Tony P., thanks for the great work at Freedom Elementary. I told Tyler that we liked the work you did and to get you on more of our projects. We were able to get all the DXRs checked out and working (minus a couple of bad components) before the first day of school. We still had to clean up some control issues on Monday, but they do have thermostat control and cooling throughout the building. In this heat wave, they were very grateful. Thanks again for all your help. --Siemens, Project Manager I can’t thank Tony P. enough for how great a job he did on this project especially with the crazy schedules we were dealt. I appreciate the exceptional level of detail he provided that makes everything clear. --Johnson Controls, Lead System Specialist Mike F. is my hero.. He makes my job as a project manager so much easier. He is always there when I need him. His communication with me is unparalleled (I wish everyone was [sic] like Mike). We work so harmoniously together. I wish I had him on all my projects. I just can’t say enough about Mike. KUDOS KUDOS KUDOS.
--Schneider Electric, Project Manager I want to let you know that everything went very smoothly with Ray F. here. He is a pleasure to work with, and his competence made the work a million times easier. Thanks to him, I was able to fully commission five boxes by myself. All the heaters work correctly, all the boxes came on line first time. Can you please thank Universal for sending Ray? --Johnson Controls, Master Controls Technician Well I would have to echo Angelo's comments. Ray F. has been doing a great job and has been very careful to make sure he is doing it right the first time. This has helped us get through the boxes in this phase much quicker. Please let Ray know his efforts are not going unnoticed. --Johnson Controls, Sr. Account Executive I want to put this out there. I've been in constant contact on both of these jobs with our team. I have heard nothing but the utmost of compliments for Ray F. -- diligence, competence, team player, thinking ahead, conscientious...he deserves major kudos. As always, Mike is kicking it over at Hersey. Dan, you put great teams together for these projects. We are in the homestretch...thank you. Thank you entire team! Thank you to the collective team with our Schneider techs. It's truly a team effort to make the impossible, possible. --Schneider Electric, Project Manager We all hear about it when we don’t get something right -- the way someone else wants it or when they want it. And we rarely receive praise or recognition. Our summer work is very stressful, fast passed, and extremely condensed with, at times, very unreasonable expectations placed upon us with less than ideal working conditions. We have no choice but to simply do the best we can to still exceed expectations. Sometimes, we get beat down by the demands and, well, you know how it goes... This project, although small in scope, was no different for us. The equipment didn’t show up on time and, when it did, only three sections of the unit showed up. Finally, two weeks late, the site is actually safe and ready for us, so the pressure was on us ("last one out" syndrome). Once again, we stepped up to the plate and got it done. Universal and Schneider, together as a team, got it done for our end user. No one ever recognizes what we do and how we are able to do it; just the blame game when the schedule gets missed for things out of our control. So I want to take a moment to personally reach out with some Kudos for a job well done. Yesterday we wrapped up our onsite portion of the project. Throughout the commissioning process, I was in communications with both our programmer and our technician.Yesterday morning, during one of my conversations with our technician, his first question to me was, "Who did the installation?" I told him. He said he wanted to know who did the actual installation work, so I informed him it was Jim S. Jack had nothing but the highest praise for the project site with respects to your scope; the panel was clean, the workmanship was great and, overall, Jack was very impressed with the pipe and wiring. Thank you Jim for a job well done. We appreciate the dedication and professionalism. Thank you for another successful project together! --Schneider Electric, Project Manager Want to submit a testimonial? Complete this form, and we will add it to our web page.
